I hope your week has been great so far! Christa and I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.
We have been busy working behind the scenes in preparation for the grand openings of Notion and ONE. As we head into this final stretch and prepare to open, let’s all be in agreement that God’s will would be accomplished through the community of ONE and through Notion. Below are some prayer points we can all join our faith on.

“When faced with obstacles in life, don’t say ‘I can’t’, ask yourself ‘How can I?’ Our brains are designed to solve problems. Ask yourself the right questions and the right answers will emerge.”

This week in Kids Lab we started a new series that we will be studying for six weeks called “Bible Royale– heroes from the Bible.”
We started the class off with the epic story of King David in David vs. Goliath. At the end of class, we had five stones (the same amount that David had selected from the river to defeat the giant) and we recapped the whole story by asking the kids, “What are five traits that David had that helped him defeat Goliath?” The kids had a lot of interesting things to say and the five that they landed on were: Hope, Brave Faith, Belief in God and himself, Skills, and God.
One of the Bible stories that the kids wanted to discuss was the Good Samaritan. We are going to begin collecting items to make care bags to pass out to the homeless. We are collecting items such as; Gallon size zip lock bags, clean socks, granola bars or packaged snacks, mini bottles of water, trial size items such as sunscreen or hand sanitizers etc. You can bring the items to church and we will put them together in one month.
We currently need two more volunteers for the Nursery class who can volunteer once a month. If you would like the opportunity to serve please Contact Anne: email@example.com
